Indian musical instruments Sangitartnakara:                                 Sangitartnakara, an earliest classical treatise refers to musical instruments, it classifies the musical instruments in to four categories. The Stringed instruments, Wind instruments, The Leather instruments, Pipe instruments. The Sarangi and the dilruba are wind instrument played by blow. Tampura, Sitar, Veena, and Sarode are String instruments played by fingers.                                 Sarangi, Dilruba, Sitar are the North Indian musical instruments. Vina is popular instrument used with Carnatic music. Tambur, Tabela, Drums, Shenai, Nadhasvaram, Cymbalsare common. The Tampura supports the beauty pattern of the melody and voice. The strings in the instruments are adjustable. the press of string causes the production of a specific note. The number of strings differ from one another. Gandam, Kanjira, Thavil, Chenda, Mula, Flute etc, are other instruments.
